On May 16th from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, we are delighted to welcome a very special musical highlight to our Center: the Stadtkapelle Mistelbach will be making a stop here as part of their major 2026 concert tour to Berlin.
This renowned ensemble from Lower Austria looks back on a long tradition, having been an integral part of the cultural life of its home region since its founding in 1936. Today, the association comprises 59 active musicians under the musical direction of conductor MMag. Renate Zipfl and Chairman Johann Stöger. The orchestra sees itself as a cultural ambassador for its region and passionately combines traditional sounds with modern wind music.
The international acclaim for their performances is evidenced by impressive milestones in the ensemble’s history, such as providing the musical setting for the Corpus Christi celebrations in the Vatican Gardens in 2014 or the 1999 invitation by the United Nations to the Golan Heights to accompany a military ceremony.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience a piece of Austrian musical culture live in Berlin and enjoy an hour of first-class wind music right here at the Center.
